The course covers B12 deficiency, pernicious anaemia, diagnosis, treatment and management. It also covers sign and symptoms of anaemia. We review inclusion and exclusion criteria and identification of appropriate patients. Delegates will get the opportunity to review practice with hands on practical demonstrations of how to give injections correctly. We will cover administration techniques, where to give the injections and record keeping / documentation.

We offer introduction to our nurse prescriber for you to be able to purchase and administer B12.

THE COURSE

We’ll cover everything you’ll need to know to start a business in Aesthetics. This course will include a course workbook, training manual and access to prescribing services.

PRACTICAL DAYS

You will have 1/5 practical days working on live models for you to gain competence and skill. With a small group of students per course, you’ll have lots of one-on-one learning time with your tutor

where you can ask questions and get plenty of signature tips for your new skill!

PRE COURSE STUDY

You will be guided through your course at your own pace via at-home learning covering theory, you will also have access to your tutors via a WhatsApp group chat if you need any extra support. This course requires lots of pre study and on-going practice but with academy support and an easy-to-follow, manual to refer to, you’ll have everything you need to make the perfect Lips for your clients.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Suitable for any of the following : Beginners, Healthcare Practitioners, SPMU practitioner, Progression Route into Aesthetics or NVQ Level 3 Beauty therapy or equivalent. If you do not hold an NVQ Level 3 or 4 but do have other qualifications that are directly related to this area of work, particularly if you work with needles please contact us to see if we will accept your qualifications
